July 29 – August 1
A 3-day intensive training designed for individuals and communities across that state that are:
1. Interested to learn more about the statewide 1,000 Homes initiative
2. Have joined the 1,000 Homes initiative and are planning a Registry Week
This is a 3-day intensive training opportunity that will enable communities to plan, network, develop a local 1,000 Homes team, and determine how to utilize existing committees and resources. Bring as many people as you’d like (we recommend at least two).
You will learn how to prioritize housing the most vulnerable in your community and the tools you can use to do so. Training includes all the information you need about how to conduct a registry week and concludes with your hand’s on participation in the 1,000 Homes Richmond registry week.
VCEH has drastically reduced the training rates to $75 per person to ensure that as many communities across Virginia can attend and affordable accommodations are available.
